Gray wolf

The gray wolf is a highly intelligent and social carnivore, known for its distinctive gray fur and piercing yellow eyes. Native to North America, Europe, and Asia, wolves live and hunt in packs, which helps them take down large prey such as deer, elk, and bison. They are adaptable creatures, capable of thriving in a range of environments from forests to tundras. Though once widespread, gray wolf populations have been reduced due to habitat loss and human conflict, but conservation efforts have helped some populations recover.
